素材

デニム産地では織ることの出来ない、常識外の極太番手のスラブ糸を使用して尾州で製作した異色の素材。
経糸には、5/1と8/1の2種類のスラブ糸を使い、番手差を利用して生地の表情に凹凸をつけています。
緯糸には8/1を使用し、表からヨコ糸の生成りの糸が覗くように設計しました。
経緯共に打ち込みをかなり甘くして織ることで、生地の厚みがありながらも軽やかで柔らかなタッチの素材に仕上げています。
あえてインディゴ染料でなく、反応染料で糸染めすることでデニム特有の色落ちがしづらい生地です。
